John Richard Lewis, 86, of Ocala, Florida, passed away, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at The Windsor of Ocala, Ocala, Florida. He was the loving husband of Shirley Lewis for 47 tears. John was born on November 18, 1931 in Indiana, PA, a son of the late Leonard and Florence (O’Hara) Lewis. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Westinghouse Electric. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War. John was an avid golfer, liked motorcycles and enjoyed raising horses. John is survived by his wife, Shirley and son, Robb Christopher Neely of Boston, MA. He is also survived by brothers, Leonard Thomas Lewis Jr. of Pittsburgh; David Francis Lewis Sr. of OH; and Norman Lee Lewis of OH. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Raymond Lewis and a brother, James R. Lewis. Private funeral services with burial in Greenwood Memorial Park were entrusted to the FRANK F.
