Magdalen Madeya, 85, of Lower Burrell, died peacefully in her home with her family by her side, on Thursday, November 16, 2017. She was born one of ten children, October 3, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas, daughter of the late Adolph and Anna (Loeffler) Zuehl. Magdalen was a devoted mother who dedicated her life to her family. She was a great cook and enjoyed visiting casinos in Vegas and Aruba. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony Mustovich, her second husband, Joseph Madeya; five siblings, Leroy, Adolph, Alban, and Adrian Zuehl, and Anna Marie Bancroft. Leaving behind to cherish her memory are her children, Anthony (Karen) Mustovich of Baden; Debora (Keith) Beattie of Lower Burrell; Mark (Michele) Mustovich of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Anthony (Oksana) Mustovich; Katelyn (Ron Grimm) Mustovich; Brian and Derrick Beattie; and Matthew Mustovich; four great grandchildren, Anthony and Alexander Mustovich; Ron and Harper Grimm; her brother, Francis Zuehl; three sisters, Marcella Eichelberger, Celestine Hoffman; and Geraldine Simon.
