Olga Taraba, 95,  of Lower Burrell, died in her home, Saturday, November 11, 2017. She was born December 25, 1921 in New Kensington, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Petras) Bozik and has lived in the Lower Burrell area most of her life. Olga was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Lower Burrell, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild.  She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, as well as watching the Steelers. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Taraba, two brothers, Andy and William Bozik, two sisters, Agnes Gmerek and Vernie Yesovitch, and a grandson, Thomas  Taraba. Olga is survived by  four children, Elaine Taylor of Glendale, CA; John (Judy) Taraba of Poland, Ohio; Joseph Taraba of Lower Burrell and James          (Michelle) Taraba of Yorba Linda, California; six grandchildren, Timothy, Andy, Jeremy, Nicole, Aaron and Jeffrey; one great grandchild, Aria; and several nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until time of blessing service at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, in the FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 3520 Route 130 Bldg. 3, Irwin, PA 15642.
