Robert L. “Buck” Reifschneider, 85, of New Kensington, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Concordia at Ridgewood Place in Plum. He was born in New Kensington, son of the late William Reifschneider and Helen (Terwilliger) Breninghouse. Buck was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Lower Burrell and a retired mechanic millwright for 33 years for Westinghouse . He proudly served his country as a Master Sargeant in the Army during the Korean War and was a 32nd  Degree Mason in Bethel Lodge #789 in Lower Burrell. His interests included hunting and fishing and being dedicated to his family and his grandchildren.  Buck was the beloved husband of Brenda Reifschneider; dear father of Debra Paulice of Lower Burrell and Robert Jr. (Judi) Reifschneider of Lower Burrell; loving grandfather of Jodi Paulice of Lower Burrell; Jaclyn (Mark) Osiecki of Sarver; Robert (Sarah) Reifschneider of Lower Burrell; Nikki Reifschneider of Florida; and Tyler (Cara) Reifschneider of Apollo; great-grandfather of Avery, Adalyn and Evan. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Cheryl and Mark. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Sunday in the FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068, where services will be held at 11 AM Monday with Pastor Rex Wasser officiating. Burial, with full military honors by the Vandergrift Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell. Lower Burrell Bethel Lodge #789 members will meet at 7:30 PM on Sunday in the funeral home.
