Carmelia B. (Bordonaro) Lord

Carmelia B. Lord, of Lower Burrell, in her 100th year, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.  She was a devoted daughter of the late John and Angeline (Cianciolo) Bordonaro.  She was the beloved wife of the late Johnston Lord.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Daniel Callahan. Carmelia is survived by her children Patricia (Lawrence) Zandarski, Margaret (Gary) Shanko, Andrea (Keith) McMeans; also, her grandchildren Jonathon (Jennifer) McMeans; Daniel (Sara) McMeans; Janice (Leah) Eardley and Joseph (Jessica Bisceglia) McMeans; and five great grandchildren.   Friends and family will be received on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. (Rosary will be recited at 7 pm) at the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, Inc., Robert P Karish, Supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell (724) 335-6500, where prayers of transfer will be on Friday at 9:30 a.m.  Mass of Christian burial will be in St Margaret Mary Church, Lower Burrell at 10 a.m.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Senior Care Oakmont 1215 Hulton Road, Oakmont, PA  15139.   www.giglerfuneralhome.com
