David L. Weston, 56, of Butler, formerly of Lower Burrell, died Friday, January 12, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born March 21, 1961 in New Kensington, a son of the late Wesley C. and Doris (Emerson) Weston. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting and fishing and enjoyed football and sports. He was employed as a long-distance truck driver. In his youthful days, he played semi-pro football for the Penn Hills Pythons. Survivors include his sons, Dillon Weston and Sean Comperature, both of Butler; his companion, Patricia “Trish” Cornetti of Butler; brothers, Wes Weston of Millvale and Richard Weston of Liberty Borough; sister, Luann (James) Shields of Lower Burrell; and special nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Denny Krajacic of Butler Community Alliance Church officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
