Edward John Cupec, 61, of Markle, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 27,2018 in his home. He was born August 30, 1956 in Natrona Heights, son of Marie (Bock) Cupec and the late Edward Charles Cupec. He retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel. Ed enjoyed fishing and hunting with his buddies at camp in Tionesta and spending time at his summer home in Florida. He had many interests, including gardening, golfing, cooking, and bowling. He loved being with his grandchildren. Ed was the beloved husband of Laurie (Murdock) Cupec; father of Ryan (Stephanie Petrilla) Cupec of Leechburg; Casey (Robert) DelBagno of Pawleys Island, SC; stepfather of Shawn (Samantha Amber) Murdock of New Kensington; grandfather of Lily Cupec; Molly Murdock; Hannah Murdock; Haley DelBagno and Addison DelBagno; dear son of Marie Cupec Mieszkowski of Tarentum and stepson of the late Chester Mieszkowski; brother of Greg Cupec of Virginia and Kathy (Kurt) Shaffer of Natrona Heights; stepbrother of Marla (Tom) Sandman of California and C.J. (Marcia) Mieszkowski of California. Honoring his wishes, services and burial are private. Arrangements entrusted to FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME in Lower Burrell 724-335-6500.
