Ralph J. Ritter

91yrs of age, of Lower Burrell, passed away on Sat. January 5, 2019.  Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mary Ritter; His wife of 63yrs in 2010, Rose Marie Ritter; Brothers, James Ritter and George Ritter and a sister, Anna Gould.  Ralph worked at the Cheswick Power Station Duquesne Light Co. for over 35yrs.  He also ran a repair service out of his home, WWII Navy Veteran serving on the USS Midway, member of St. Margaret Mary Church and where he enjoyed working on the food bank, life member of VFW Post #92, life member of American Legion Post #868, and member of IBEW serving on executive board and as a vice president.  His hobbies included fishing and hunting.  Ralph is survived by his two sons, Edward (Linda) Ritter of Leechburg, & David (Kelly) Ritter of Williamsport, Pa; proud grandfather of Keri Ritter and Rachael Ritter of Williamsport, Pa;  brother, Charles Ritter of Dayton, Oh.; a sister, Rose Marie Ritter of Verona, Pa. Also many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.  Family and friends will be received at the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, Inc., Robert P. Karish, Supvr., 2877 Leechburg Rd., Lower Burrell, Pa. 15068 (724-335-6500) on TUESDAY ONLY  2-4PM & 6-8PM.  Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church, Lower Burrell on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at 10AM.  Interment Greenwood Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions can be made in Raph's name to St. Margaret Mary Church, 3055 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA  15068.   www.giglerfuneralhome.com
