It is with deeply felt sorrow that the family of Arlene G. Leah announces her passing on Friday November 16th, 2022, at the beautiful Magnolia Place of Saxonburg. Arlene was born in Arnold to her parents the late William and Catherine Barcus. Arlene was a member of Apollo Presbyterian Church as well as a part of the VFW Post 92 in Lower Burrell Ladies Axillary. Among all of her amazing accomplishments, being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother where some of her most joyful memories. Arlene was always a sweet bright spot in anyone’s life or even in a quick passing moment. Her smile and joy for life, her amazing spirit and never give up attitude will be carried on in all of our hearts as we celebrate her life and memory. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her Dear husband Joesph E. Leah, sisters Mary Lou Zimmerman and Georgan Kiehl, Two Brothers Bill and Harland Barcus and Grandson Christopher Bishop. She is survived by her most loving and supportive children Tony and Jeanne Bishop, Cathie (Bishop) Richard, Ted and Susan (Bishop) Sabotka; Her grandchildren, Scott and Christie (Keith) Bishop, Amy and Sean Cunningham; Her great grandchildren, Marissa and Rusty Hill, Alleah Worstell, Harper, Gordon & Brody Cunningham; As well as sisters Doris Baker and Marlene Miller and countless dear friends. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday November 30th from 5-7 P.M at the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, Inc., Robert P. Karish Supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Rd., Lower Burrell, PA 15068, where services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Memorial Park.
