Audrey J. (Yetka) Morrow

Audrey “Jean” Morrow, 89, of New Kensington passed away peacefully on Saturday July 29, 2023.  She was a daughter of the late Clair Joseph and Eleanor S. Yetka.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Yetka and Bobbie Yetka.  Jean worked for several years as a Billing Administrator for Dr.’s Sheid, Leydig and Heister in Lower Burrell.  She also worked at the former Tarentum Radiologics Group.  For many years Jean was a volunteer at Heritage Hospice in New Kensington.  Jean was an excellent seamstress and known for her attention to detail and excellent skills.  Her beautiful garden was a source of pride providing many people with starter flowering plants and bushes.  Jean looked forward to beach vacations with her family, specifically at the Outer Banks.  Jean is survived by her children JC (Lori) Morrow of Washington, PA., Janet Schmelzer of Lower Burrell, Jeri Thomas (Michael)of Raleigh, NC and Jennie Morrow of New Kensington.  A huge source of pride for Jean was her grandchildren Tyler J. Morrow of Washington, DC Trevor L. (Alice) Morrow of Pittsburgh, Pa, Abigail J. Schmelzer (Dan Blidner) of Jersey City, NJ Jordan (David) Baker of Naples, FL. and Bryson C. Thomas of Lexington, KY.  In lieu of flower please consider making a donation to two organizations that were special to Jean, either Clelian Heights School for Exceptional Children, 135 Clelian Heights Lane, Greensburg PA 15601 (clelianheights.org) or Special Olympics of Pennsylvania (support.specialolympics.org).  Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday September 9, 2023, at 11 am at Puckety Presbyterian Church, 1009 Puckety Church Road, Lower Burrell, PA 16058.  Funeral Luncheon will follow at Hillcrest Country Club, 3411 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell.   Condolences are welcome at www.giglerfuneralhome.com.
