Claude J. “Revmoon” Resnick, 71, of Lower Burrell passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021. He was born in Natrona Heights to the late Paul and Virginia (Milberger) Resnick, Sr. He was preceded in death by his sister Polly Ann Cowan. He was a 1968 graduate from Wawasee Prep School in Syracuse, Indiana. He retired from Allegheny Ludlum in 2006 as a Craneman. In his retirement he was a special needs bus driver for W.L. Roenigk Co. Claude was an Auxiliary Police Officer in Lower Burrell since 1980. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, but most of all, spending time with his family. He is survived not only by his loving wife of 50 years, but his best friend, Rebecca (Boyd) Resnick, of Lower Burrell, son Jason (Melanie) Resnick, of Lower Burrell and Joshua (Stephanie) Resnick, of Vandergrift; his beloved grandchildren, Devon, Dylan, Alexis and Dominic Resnick; brothers James (Linda) Resnick, of Greensburg, Paul (Marlene) Resnick, of Lower Burrell, Mike (Diane) Resnick, of Apollo and Joseph Resnick; and also numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on WEDNESDAY from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, Robert P. Karish, Supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068. Mass of Christian burial will be held 1 p.m. THURSDAY in St. Margaret Mary Church, 3055 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell. Interment will take place in Greenwood Memorial Park. The family would like to thank his special sister-in-law Patty and good neighbors Nina and Mark. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
