Daniel J. Swanger Jr., 70, of New Kensington passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023. He was born in New Kensington to late Daniel J., Sr. and Flora Mae Swanger. He was preceded in death by son, Daniel J. Swanger III; sister Patty Mallough; and brother Keith Swanger. Daniel was a self-employed painter for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, classic cars and especially “Not Being Bothered”. Dan is survived by his children, Sheena Swanger of New Kensington; Mandy Swanger of New Kensington and Zack Swanger of Palm Harbor, Fla.; granddaughter, Chalsie Rayburg; grandson, Trenton Moorehead and great grandsons, Hayden, Nathan, and Layton; his brothers and sisters; Flossy, Jack, David, Ken, Charlie, Len, and Cindy.
