Donald Krowsoski

Donald Krowsoski, age 88 of Lower Burrell passed away on Monday December 26, 2022.  He was born in New Kensington to the late Andrew and Mary (Goga) Krowsoski.  He was preceded in death by his infant son Thomas and his brother Peter Paul King.  Donald was a proud Army veteran.  He worked as a grocery manager for Kroger’s in Lower Burrell and was a sales manager for Gibson’s Greeting cards.  He enjoyed his outdoor sports and activities; his St. Bernard dog Heather and especially his family.  Donald is survived by his children Donna (Richard) Schachte of New Kensington, Andrew (Karen) Krowsoski of Lower Burrell, Daniel (Cindy) Krowsoski of Sarver and Carolyn Sue DePoy of New Kensington; grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah and Elizabeth Schachte; Leandra Krowsoski, Jessica Dickson, Drew Krowsoski and Nathan Krowsoski; Bethany Krowsoski and Joe Krowsoski, Hannity DePoy; three great grandchildren; and also, two people he loved like sons, Ryan Smith and Matthew Smith. Family and friends will be received on Thursday December 29th from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 pm at the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, Inc., Robert P. Karish, Supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell (724) 335-6500.
