Florabelle (Keibler) Murray

Florabelle (Keibler) Murray, 91, of Lower Burrell died Friday, January 21, 2022 in her Lower Burrell home with family at her side.  She was born in Plum Borough and was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Farneth) Keibler.  Florabelle was employed at Montgomery Ward before becoming a wife, mother and homemaker.  During her younger years she enjoyed crocheting, needle point and making wreathes.  She was the sole survivor of her TOPS club that met every week to motivate members to lose weight and stay healthy.  It obviously worked.  Later in her years she enjoyed doing search-a-word puzzles and eating chocolate.   She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandkids and great grandson.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Upper Burrell Township.  Florabelle is survived by her son Jack (Mary) Murray of Brackenridge and daughter Robin (Murray) Simon of Lower Burrell; three grandsons, Brandon (Corrine) Murray of New Kensington, Connor Murray of Brackenridge and Michael Busch of Delphos, Ohio; two granddaughters, Lauren Simon of Lower Burrell and Kelsey Simon of Ohio; great grandson Carson of Lower Burrell; niece Karen (Keibler) Johnston of Brackenridge; brother-in-law George (Joyce) Murray of New Kensington and numerous other nieces and nephews and her caretaker “Little Mary” D.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jack Murray, her parents, brother Albert Keibler; sister-in-law Dorothy Keibler and niece Jodie Murray.  Visitation and funeral service will be private for the family.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 730 Church Street, New Kensington, PA  15068.  Arrangements entrusted to the Frank F.
