Fred C. Van Den Heuvel, Sr., 82, of Murrysville, passed away, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. He was born in New Kensington to the late Gerritt and Elizabeth (Martin) Van Den Heuvel. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Karen Y. (Lewin) Van Den Heuvel, of Murrysville, sons Fred (Lisa) Van Den Heuvel, Jr., of Washington Twp., and Gary Van Den Heuvel, of Washington, Twp., daughter Connie (Dan) Stover, of Leechburg, PA, His beloved grandchildren; Leah (Gerald) White, Fred (Julia) Van Den Heuvel, III, Dustin Stover, Evan (Alex) Stover, and Travis Stover; cherished great-granddaughter Maura White and an expected Great-grandson, Miles White, who will be here in a few weeks. His is also survived by his loving pet “Bree” aka Nikki. He was preceded in death by his sister Marie Lantelme and two brothers, Larry Van Den Heuvel and Gene H. Heuvel. Family and Friends will be received at the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, Robert P. Karish, Supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068 on SATURDAY from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. where Services will be held on SUNDAY at 11 a.m. Entombment in Twin Valley Memorial Park. “Fred will be sorely missed by his family and Friends.”
