Frederick L. Hebner, Jr., age 74 of Leechburg, passed away on Thursday, Thanksgiving day. He was born on October 9, 1947. As a young man, Frederick served proudly the Army for several years. He worked as a carpenter, steel worker, and for a school district. He was a proud father of 4 children; 4 great grandchildren, and a great grandchild who will be born in March. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, and traveling. He was an amateur movie buff and was known to enjoy a movie as he played with his pets. An adventurer by nature, Fred traveled to many places and enjoyed the sights of Montana, Alaska, and different parts of the world. Woodworking was a favorite hobby of his, as he loved working with his hands. Someone with a strong will and a kind heart Fred was a diligent, noble, and honorable man who helped out many. So many will miss him for his outgoing and truthfully funny personality. Most will remember him because he was known for his kindness and always had time for the people he loved. Frederick also survived by three sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements are Private and entrusted to the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, Inc., Lower Burrell.
