Genieve E. (Benemann) Hebner

Genieve E. Hebner, 99, of Leechburg passed away on Wednesday May 31, 2023 in AGH Forbes Hospital.  She was born in Lower Burrell to the late Herbert and Annabelle Benemann.  She was preceded by her husband Frederick L. Hebner, Sr., her son Frederick L. Hebner, Jr.; 1 brother and 2 sisters.  Genieve enjoyed cooking, gardening, keeping busy around her house and especially attending Allegheny Presbyterian Church.  She is survived by her children Elaine Robbins of New Kensington, Dorothy Hebner of Kentucky, and the late Marlene (who passed away a day later) and her surviving husband Carl Russell of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 8 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren; brother Fred Benemann of High Park and sister Edna Reedy of Leechburg.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday June 4, 2023, from 2 until 4 p.m. at the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, Inc., Robert P. Karish Supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeri-Lynne Bouterse officiating.  Interment to follow in Brookland Cemetery, Allegheny Township.  www.giglerfuneralhome.com.
