Joyce (Keefer) Moore

Joyce I. Moore, 86, of Oklahoma Borough, formerly of Leechburg, passed away on Friday October 6, 2023.  She was born in Indiana, Pa. to the late Casper and Dorothy (Neal) Keefer.  Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years John Moore, her brother Neal Keefer and sister Marilyn Burkett.  She was a graduate of Leechburg High School and went on to further her education at Indiana State Teacher College, now IUP.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vandergrift.  Joyce is survived by her daughter, Laurie Bowser (her fiance’ Larry Ellenberger) of Indiana, PA, son Scott Moore and his wife Lori Moore of Etters, PA.; three grandchildren, Joshua Bowser of Pittsburgh and Seth and Samuel Moore, both of Etters, PA.  Honoring her wishes, services and burial are private.  Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 134 Custer Avenue, Vandergrift, PA  15690.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank F.
