Mildred "Mid" (Orris) Coulson

Mildred “Mid” Coulson, 89, of Lower Burrell passed away on Friday January 26, 2024, at her home with her family at her side.  She was born in New Kensington, a daughter of the late Calvin and Emma Orris.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Calvin, Frank & Richard Orris, sisters Frances Mitchell and Evelyn Lasher.  Mildred enjoyed camping in her motor home, music and shopping.  Mildred was a wonderful mother who was a great support to her husband and daughters.  Mid is survived by her husband of 69 years, John W. Coulson of Lower Burrell; her daughters Barbara (Charles) Paine of Lower Burrell and Chris (Mark) Truitt of Leechburg; her grandchildren Victoria Paine, Zachary Paine, Megan Keener and Brenton Truitt; and her great grandson Tucker Truitt.  Family and friends will be received from 6-8 pm on Monday January 29, 2024, at the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, Inc., 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, where services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday with Rev.
