Nancy J Uzelac

Nancy J. Uzelac (Menhart) 85 of Lower Burrell, PA, died Monday May 29, 2023 at home, surrounded by her family.  She was born July 4,1937 in Springdale, PA.  Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Menhart.  Nancy was a talented seamstress and avid gardener.  She was also  very active with the Democratic party.  Nancy enjoyed going to the beach with her husband and was dreaming of that in her final days.  She was preceded in death by her husband Frederic Uzelac.  Nancy was a beloved mother to Frederic C. Uzelac Jr., of Renton, PA, Shari Pettigrew of South Carolina, Marci Kuni of Florida, and Joseph (Verlene) Uzelac of Lower Burrell; sister of Joseph (Cathy) Menhart of Lower Burrell, and loving grandmother of Nicole, Kayla, Christina, Angela, Kaitlyn, Alexis and Christian. Family and friends will be received at the FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME, INC.. Robert P. Karish, Supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell (724-335-6500) on Thursday 4-7 pm where services will be held on Friday at 11 am.  Interment will follow in the Puckety Church Cemetery.
