Patricia Ann Lewandowski, 90, of New Kensington, passed peacefully in her sleep on April 30, 2023 with family members at her side. She was born to the late Charles “Red” Leroy and Christine (Bell) Harkins on November 5th, 1932. She was a 1951 graduate of Ken High, New Kensington.
She worked at various places including the former Citizens General Hospital as a lab technician, head cashier at JCPenney’s and New Kensington Arnold School District for 23 years as a cafeteria worker handing out lunches to grade school students.
She was active in her community and volunteered her time at Penn State New Kensington. She was a very active member of the United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington, serving as a deacon, an elder on the personal committee and was involved in their prayer chain. She also enjoyed for 21 years helping with the church newsletter as well as the community Food Bank at her church. She was elected as Judge of election for Westmoreland County for 24 years.
She ALWAYS loved attending her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren’s choir/band concerts and other school activities. She also loved attending their various sporting events, especially baseball games. When kids or people would come up and talk to her, they would always address her as “Grandma Pat”.
