Patricia "Pat" (Slavin) Reel

Patricia A. “Pat” (Slavin) Reel, age 74 of Lower Burrell passed away peacefully on Saturday September 23, 2023.  She was born in Uniontown to the late William and Delores Slavin.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Clarence, and George Slavin.  Pat was a proud Navy Veteran and dedicated her life to her nursing career.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, and in recent years she enjoyed 3 “D” diamond painting.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.  She is survived by her children Dawn Reel of Lower Burrell and Matt Reel and his wife Kim and her grandson Ryan Reel, of Sarver.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday September 27 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Frank F. Gigler Funeral Home, Inc., 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell (724) 335-6500 where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 11 am.  Interment with full military honors to follow in Lakewood Cemetery.   www.giglerfuneralhome.com.
