Phyllis (Double) Barclay-Paolo

Phyllis D. Barclay-Paolo, 95, of New Kensington.  Passed away peacefully on Sunday July 30, 2023.  Daughter of the late Harry E. and Janet K. Double.  Also preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years Adam B. Barclay, Jr., her 2nd husband of 27 years Samuel Paolo and step-son Scott Paolo.  Phyllis enjoyed dancing, summers in Topsail, winters in Arizona and Key West, and of course her ice cream.  Her greatest treasures were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Phyllis is survived by her children, Karen (Bruce) Oplinger, Manalapan, NJ., Robert A. (Artamarie) Barclay, Huntingdon, Pa., Rebecca J. (Frank) Mangone, New Kensington, Pa. and Nancy B. (Charles) Caso, Northport, NY.;  Grandmother of William Oplinger, Brian (Melissa) Mangone, Shannan Tuorto, Jamie Mangone, Ashley Mangone, Robert (Isabel) Barclay, Taylor Caso, Jacob (Ally) Mangone, Hannah Caso, Madison Caso, and Makayla Caso; Great Grandmother of Kaleigh Oplinger, Kamryn Oplinger, William Oplinger, Liam Mangone, Melina Mangone, Benjamin Tuorto, Jackson Mangone and Alma Barclay;  Step daughters, Mary Elizabeth Maggio and Carol (Jay) Paolo Johnson; 4 step grandchildren and 1 great step grandchild. The family would like to thank Cindy for all her help and special care she gave our Mom.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday September 30, 2023 at 11 am at Grace Community Church, 2751 Grant Street, Lower Burrell, PA.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis’s name to Grace Community Church, 2751 Grant Street, Lower Burrell, PA 15068; Grove City College, or Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 730 Church Street, New Kensington, PA 15068.
