Robert Edward (“PAA”) Prindle, 94, of Lower Burrell passed away in the early morning of Tuesday May 30, 2023. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Marguerite (Pyne) Prindle. Also preceded in death by his brothers Vincent and Lex Prindle, sister Sally Bogovich, and son-in-law Philip McCafferty. Robert graduated from IUP with a B.S. in Education and his Masters from Duquesne University. Robert retired in 1991 from the Burrell School District, where he was a teacher for over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. PAA took a lot of pride in his Ford Thunderbird that he would only drive on special occasions. He loved working in his garden and on vehicles. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Steelers, and disagreeing with Fox News. He especially enjoyed dancing the Jitter Bug with the love of his life and going to the V.F.W. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Mary (Serluco) Prindle; Two daughters: Denise McCafferty and Lynette Speer of Lower Burrell; Five grandchildren: Kaylan (Nick) Polcha, Chelsey (Brandon) Stodart, Nicholas (Amanda) Speer, Robert (Heather) Speer, and Alexandra (Adam) Steuernagle and ten Great-Grandchildren: Aurora Polcha; Riley, Cadence, and Duke Stodart; Wyatt, Reagan, and Peyton Speer; Mila and Mikaela Speer; and Philip Steuernagle; ten great grandchildren, Aurora Polcha, Riley, Cadence and Duke Stodart, Wyatt, Reagan and Peyton Speer, Mila and Mikaela Speer and Philip Steuernagle; brother Tom (Mary) Prindle of Vinco, PA.
